At least Austin Powers tries to do the right thing.
George tries to do the right thing for his own ambitions and those of his political friends. Unfortunately, George is successful in meeting his objectives. He's not incompetent, he is just deserving of an impeachment.

I love those that complain about Bush. They are usually the ones so polarized by the war, that they forget recession Clinton left us in. Bush helped keep interests rates low to foster the housing boom of the last several years, thus keeping the economy out of the cellar. Considering Gore claims to have created the internet, the Clinton admin should have foreseen the computer balloon that was ready to pop. Everyone knew stocks were going to pop. He did nothing. What about the Tax breaks the Bush admin gave most of us. Well if ya don't remember it, ya soon will if the dems get in. They plan on getting rid of that. lol Sudam needed to go. For all those people complaining we went over there, they are the same complaining about gas prices, then saying we only went over there for the oil. Well ya can't have it both ways. Either you want us to lower gas or ya dont. And remember once we handed Sudam over and his own people put him to death, that pretty much justified us being there. Sure Austin Powers would do a good job, baby! I'd vote for him before Hillary. Think healthcare cost money now, wait til she gets in. If the republicans are supposedly in bed with oil , the dems are in bed with Healthcare. We certainly pay more in healthcare than gas. Thats where the $$ is and people are blind to it.

Austin Powers is a fictional character, and would therefore have a very uneventful term.
However, other presidents with every uneventful terms have come and left quietly and been hailed as good presidents. Since Bush has been hailed a bad president, I suppose you are a not lying or mistaken whatsoever.
In our current situation however, it should not happen. We need a president who's going to take action. Maybe in a more peaceful time.

Austin Powers wasn't born in the US and would not be capable to run for President. (The character, not Mike Myers)
Derek Flint, However would make a great president. Intelligent, capitalist, playboy, isn't afraid to take on an enemy, and doesn't care what people think about his decisions.
Bush kind of is closer to Flint I would say. He sure doesn't give a damn about silly polls from people who have no clue what is going on in the world when the intel reports are sitting right in front of him.
Not Like Reid and Pelosi, They are both panderers to poll numbers.

Let's see, he never knew we won the cold war until Basil Exposition told him, and he concentrates on "shagging with birds" more than Clinton ever did. So, I don't think he would.

Bush is a better actor, though. He plays a much more realistic chimp role.
