Natural and/or electronically created sounds/signals sent at high frequencies normally cannot be heard by the average human ear. Animals with sensitive hearing, however, can detect these elusive sounds, sometimes experiencing degrees of discomfort doing so.

It's heavily theorized that infinite frequencies lay in wait to be discovered---frequencies that can do a lot more than you realize.

because we believe that it sounds the same. High frequency is when the wavelengths are close together... and we believe it will make a high pitched sound? just like people refer weight to mass when they are totally different things

My quess is that as your ear drum vibrates more quickly, your brain interprets that to be a higher pitched sound and as it vibrates more slowly, it interprets it to be a lower pitch.
