This runs in my family; I am well informed.
Symptoms:
1. Facial or chest hair (hair in places women don't usually have hair in)
2. Thick leathery brownish skin in the major folds of the body (i.e. armpits, backs of legs)
3. Obesity
4. Hypoglycemia
5. Irregular or even nonexistent menstruation
6. Infertility
7. Ovarian cysts
Those are some of the signs. If left untreated, it can lead to ovarian cysts, if you don't already have them. Also, it can lead to diabetes and heart problems.
Schedule an appointment with an Endocrinologist or a Gynecologist. They will help you, and probably run labs to figure out if you have it or not.

There are soooo many signs of PCOS. If you're overweight and haven't had regular periods you could have an insulin problem. If your insulin levels go out of whack they basically shut down your hormones thus causing you not to ovulate. If you have discharge from your nipples you could have a prolactin disorder. Some other signs are acne; body hair in places it shouldn't be; weight issues (gaining weight or having a hard time losing weight) Another classic sign is when a doctor performs an u/s and sees a bunch of cysts around your ovaries "the string of pearls". Good luck!

The dr would run some blood test to check your hormones level and do a ultrsound to see if ther e is any systc on the ovaries, then he would ask you about a lil history about yourself such as, how old were you when you got a period, how long does your period last is it heavy, is it painful, and if its reguler. I no I had Pcos ever since I started having unwanted facial hair, hairy legs, very irreguler and long periods, and not being able to conceive for 4 years
