The Bugatti Veyron. It has around 1112 HP, but they advertise it as 1001HP because they limited the engine and top speed. Its true top speed is 257mph, but it is limited to 253mph because if it goes any faster, the tires would blow up. It has around 900 ibs. ft. of torque. It is a 16 cylinder engine with 4 turbochargers and 10 radiators to keep things cools. Other cars have 1-2 radiators.

Yes those answers are correct but remember its power to weight ratio that makes the big difference. A top fuel funny car or dragster has 8000 plus horsepower. But then again a 600 pound bike with about 140 horsepower is amazingly quick and fast. There are so many veriables to this question

veyron. W16 engine, 4 turbo chargers. Roughly 1001 hp. too many luxuries for me, i would rather a ferrari enzo, a lot less power, but stays true to the racing idealogy.

John Force Mustang , with 8000 hp ! and they have 3 teams with 2 cars each, so there are 6 of them at least and they are always building more.
