The neighborhood seems to have lexus' and benz's but is it safe? There's so much data that says its not.

The area around hayward bart is pretty decent, I think you'll be fine. The stats you're seeing probably include a lot more than just that part of hayward.

I'm not sure because everywhere I've been to in Hayward seemed to be pretty ghetto. Then again...I haven't been to that many places there. I say if there's luxury cars parked out in front of houses in your neighborhood, I'm sure you're safe.

I wouldn't worry about it. Hayward is relatively safe. It's an older neighborhood but still respectable. (I went to college there!)

dude, Hayward Bart Station is in HAYWARD, not in SF.
