I know most high schoolerz and college guys wear jockstraps rather than compression shorts, but it seems like all the sports stores aren't selling much of compression shorts anymore so is it worth it to get compression shorts off line, or should i just do what most h.s. and college guys do and get a jock.

I've worn both and both serve the purpose of keep your package from flopping around. Personally I preferred the jock. I played 4 years of college football and everything prior and I saw very very few players ever wear a cup ( a few RBs is about it)

I'm in high school and all the guys wear jocks, for football, basketball, and in baseball they wear a jock and sliding shorts. I think all the guys agree on this one, that a jock is something every man should have. Compression shorts were a junior high thing, grow up a little. PeaCE

i wear compression shorts and so does everyone else i know on my team. i find jocks to be too uncomfortable. i guess it's personal preference. also you should be able to get compression shorts at any decent sporting goods store, all the ones where i live sell them. also i side note i remember a while back watching espn after jeremy stevens kneed that radiers guy in the nuts and they were interviewing michael irvin and they asked him if he wore a cup when he played, and he said no and went on to say that hardly anyone did. so even a lot of the pros don't wear cups.

Really depends on what is most comfortable to you. In my opinion a jock is the way to go. It's designed to keep your boys up and out of the way where as compression shorts just smash them down. They say that compression shorts prevent muscle fatigue but that's just a marketing gimmick. If you are doing any kind of athletic activity best to keep the boys up and out of they way rather then smashed between your skin and legs. It all come down to function. I'm 25, Crosfiter and triathlete.
