I hear ya. I mean do they do that on purpose. those so Bright lights. i have come out of the dressing room with more issues than i had going in and i have even seen woman coming out looking like they are about to burst into tears. i don't care if you are skinny or curvy.those lights do nobody justice. i would love to call these places and tell them to tone the lights down. i love shopping, but i hate trying things on. there are times i might buy the item, try it on at home and than if i don't like it i simply return them.

Yes, my clothes always look better after I get home. Some stores have not realized that the harsh flourscent lighting is not very unbecoming. I have heard some department stores are actually bowing their mirrors to make you look thinner. That is not good, however.

Its because most of the dressing rooms have those hideous fluroscent lights in them which shows every tiny little imperfection!

The ones that are three in one are the worse...
... you see, the middle one tells the truth, the side ones show a skinnier you..... how many minutes I have wasted gazing at the "old" Myra then shocked to see the "present" Myra.....sigh... oh cookies... yum!

It's the combination of the lights (usually fluorescent) and the mirror!! They magnify cellulite!!! Also bring out any other imperfection--yes they magnify imperfection!!!
