Teddy Ruxpin... he was my favorite toy when i was little but he broke :( He was a bear who was also a casette player && when u put a tape in he would come to life && read u stories...

of course, We have an original TR on display in my living room. We have the original box, book and tape. Ours doesn't work, theres something wrong with the battery connectors:( He belonged to my husbands deceased aunt. I love Teddy. In 2000 a new teddy ruxpin came out with new digital technology. "World of wonder" went out of business but another company is remaking the classic toy. He looks identical....not to be confused with that pj bearytales

Yes! Last christmas they put a new one out on the market... he looked the same and the voices were that same .... he was just more advanced as far as technology goes.... I am happy someone remebers him! I can not find him in the stores anymore.... my mom got him from Walmart so check there first.......
