Light colored shoes are more acceptable in Summer. However, do black ballerina flats work for summer? I'm going on a crusie and need a comfy pair of shoes to go with dresses and skirts. The attire is smart/casual. As cozy as flip-flops are with sun-dresses, they are kind of out.

Black flats in summer = yes. They can be dressed up or down. They are classic. They complement khaki, navy, etc.
Since it's a cruise, you might want to consider getting a pair of Keds lace ups or skimmers. That way, if they get wet it's okay.

I would go with lighter colors for summer, but if the black looks nice with the dress, definatley stick with it. I love ballet flats!

They work- but i would say try and wait for fall. If you want black flats, see if you can find a pair with a pattern, like white polka-dots or something. They are a bit more summery and equally efficient!

I find them acceptable as long as you wear something summery (lol)- pink white yellow orange etc. with them. Any ballerina flats are in this sumer and fall. =)

I wear black flats all the time. However, mine are like Dorothy (Wizard of Oz) shoes...just black instead of red shimmery...and not heels....

forget approximately approximately what different each physique is donning. Which do you prefer? in case you like white, then like white. in case you like black, like black. it is your opiion. additionally, there are lots of people who will like white ballet apartments extra powerful.
