I am in a family of 8 children, all with the same awesome parents, and it is SO FUN! Always having a relative to talk to is geat and we had fun growing up together, never a dull moment, now the oldest sister has a little girl and now (me the 3rd girl) is pregnant, so our family is growing even bigger!

You know what my neighbor has 5 and counting and what I tell her is it takes a special kind of person to want/raise that many children and ur one of them. So if u think u can handle it financially, and be a good mother than no its not crazy. Im pregnant with baby number 3 (my last) and it seems like after two people think ur crazy but this day in age people are having bigger families. Before 2 was the common number now 3 is. I came from a family of 7 and wouldnt have it any other way and we were not rich by all means. I love all the memories of my childhood with my brother and sisters and wouldnt change a thing.

Honestly, I think it really depends on your personal situation. I always wanted to have 5 kids... However I would never dream of bringing more kids into the world if my husband and I were unable to afford them.

I still would like to have lots of children but now I want to actually adopt children that don't have good loving home environments. If you have so much love in your heart and can afford lots of children without relying on the state then why not spread your love around?????

No there's nothing wrong with having as many children as you want. As long as you and your husband agree. I think it is wonderful that you want to have a big family. I know a few people that have big families like that. my one relative has 9 kids. Some other couple have 12 kids! Another couple has 7. So as long as you both are ok with it. Then I would do it. Congradulations! Thats so great!

Well no your not crazy I am 30 and I have 3 and then 9 weeks pregnant with twins, it is just more help to you and when you don't have anybody else to talk to or is lonely your kids are the only ones that will always be there for you, so this is great

No I wanted to have 7. My mother had 6 and it was awesome growing up. We could play games like mother may I and red rover without having to invite others over. Additionally if one of your siblings was mad at you, you could always play with/ talk to one that wasn't. I really enjoyed having so many kids in my family and wanted my children to be able to experience the same thing growing up. As an adult it is also nice to always have someone to talk to/ turn to when things aren't that great. When my husband and I are dead ( in a long long time) it would also be a great piece of mind to know that they will always have each other.

I personally think it's crazy.. for me..... But, if that is what you two want and can afford.. then go for it. Be sure to have enough time to take care of all of the children as individuals. A lot of times in big families, a lot of responsibility is placed on the older children and that can be pretty unfair.

No you are not crazy. I have 5 myself and they range in age 17 down to 4 . It has many responsibilities and many memories. I say if your health and your marriage is healthy and you both agree and have resources to support the children then go for it girl!!

we're having our first in october and we're planning on having 5 or 6 kids. i see nothing wrong with it!!!! if you have a happy home for them DO IT!
there are too many kids being born out of wedlock into bad situations, that's what's crazy. bringing children into a good environment is admirable.
