We play monopoly a couple times a year. Scrabble a little more often. Do you have a favorite?

My family enjoys games. We get to gether with a couple of neighbors and play board games and card games once a month. Some favorites include:
Scrabble, Scattergories, Quarto, Pirateerer, Batik, Apples to Apples, Pirates of the Caribbean Dice, A to Z, ASAP Card Game, Quoridor, Pylos - to name a few.

We like to play apples to apples and catch phrase in our house. They are a lot of fun and do not take as long as monopoly or other board games so you can play more than once.

Out of the normal stuff, I'm fond of Monopoly, Clue, and Scrabble.
Liar's Dice is less common (but Parker Bros does sell it as Perudo and as Pirates of the Carribean Pirate Dice) and is a favorite as well.
I do living history reenactment and play several medieval games as well, like nine-man's-morris, alquerque, draughts (that's checkers to most of you), chess (on regular and Byzantine boards), Goose, and gluckhaus.

One of my all time favorite board games is Clue!
You can't beat mysteries!!!!
There are so many board games to choose from!!! I also love Sorry! You also have to try aggravation..... the marble race game.

yup yup, and we have a large gathering coming over for game night next weekend, yeah! we always play risk, then check out other games people have picked up since the last game night, loads of fun!
