has a remote starter on. so i disconnected it. seems to start when i jump form another car, but when i shut it off same result. turn key and it will just click (once). some times it will click several time in a row, when i turn the key. but know it wont' do anything, but lite up dash, radio etc... i've been told there's a history with gm's, and electical stuff. can someone help me out here???

Hmm, that sounds a lot like a bad connection. Was there any noticeable corrosion on the wiring? If that isn't the case, I would have that battery load tested again.

If it's standard check the clutch safety switch. If auto move the shifter a bit, may not be set correctly.
