No, SDSU is considered a party school. Generally all CSU's are considered below average schools, except for Cal Poly SLO. If you're looking for a good school in SD, then UCSD would be considered a good university.

No, its just average. Its not that good and its not that bad.

UC San Diego is a lot better and University of San Diego might be better than SDSU too....

No. None of the CSU schools are very selective nor are they very good.
