Mow the lawn a couple of times, rake up the pine needles and mulch the leaves. Then the usual, pick up stray newspapers and watch the house. Dog sit. Oh this was pretty big, got a load of rocks and made a walk way over landscape cloth and put down some slates. I also put down two loads of playground mulch under the kids' swing sets.

my friend and i were in a big fight. she was angry with me because im not always sensitive to her problems, and i know that i could probably try harder to be more understanding. but she expects me to feel sorry for her when she doesnt do her homework and she doesn't understand things in school. i mean i do feel for her and i understand to a certain extent, but i manage to get my work done with my busy scheduale. thats why i really dont have much sympathy 4 slackers. we were talking on IM last night, and we just started being really mean to each other. she stopped talking to me and just signed off the computer. it gave me some time to think about the things i had said to her. i always knew she struggled in school, and i have always felt a little sorry for her. so i thought that the best thing i could do was at least support her and make her happy as her friend. so i bought her her favorite CD that she had been wanting and i put it in her locker before she got to school this morning. she was so happy and sometimes all it takes is a little consideration and forgiveness :)

My neighbor/friend needed some toilet paper, so she sent her 10 year old across the street...I gave her 2 rolls...(I buy the cheap 1-ply stuff).
