So, I'm watching Hedwig and the Angry Inch for the first time, and I'm pretty lost. This is what I gathered so far: Hedwig was the lover of the Gnosis guy, and then he stole all of Hedwig's songs and became famous. Now Hedwig is following him around the country, performing the songs and has filed a lawsuit. Is the guy in Hedwig's band her new lover?
Am I right? Or no?

Yes, she is with the "guy" (Yitsoc.. . that's phonetic since I've never seen the name written) in the band.. sort of.. It's not a great relationship as you can see by the way they act towards each other.. Great movie though.. (I never got to see the play.. )

Do you mean the guy with the bandana played by a woman? I think they are supposed to be somewhat involved.
