50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and 00's. What songs do you like from each of those decades? If you don't like a song from a certain decade, you don't have to put anything down. For me it's:

50's: I'm not into 50's music but I do like Hound Dog by Elvis lol
60's: The Ballad Of You And Me And Pooneil by Jefferson Airplane
70's: Baby, I Love Your Way by Peter Frampton one of my favorite songs ever
80's: Drive by the Cars
90's: Don't Wanna Fall In Love by Jane Child. One of the few songs I like from the 90's
00's Honestly, I don't like any

Ok, let's see:

50's: Gotta be the King, probably Hound Dog

60: Light My Fire by The Doors

70: Gotta be Cat Stevens, it's a tie between "Where Do The Children Play" and "Lilywhite"

80's: The MJ decade, maybe i'd say "Man In The Mirror"

90's: Probably "Grace" by Jeff Buckley

00's: "Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely" by Back Street Boys

50s -- Don't own much 50s music but probably Dixie Dooble by Link Wray.
60s -- Also not huge into the 60s; Octopus's Garden by the Beatles, I guess.
70s -- No Quarter by Led Zeppelin or 21st Century Boy by T. Rex. Hard to decide.
80s -- Holiday in Cambodia by the Dead Kennedys.
90s -- Waited a Light Year by Tripping Daisy or Vulgar Theories by Lungfish.
00s -- Indian Bones by Dead Meadow. Pretty much anything by Dead Meadow. Also, A House by Doves.

I've got to say, this is one the hardest questions for me to answer since I own so much music and I like so much music, even the stuff I don't own. My answers are what I've really liked lately.

50's: Eh...probably "Johnny B. Goode". It proves how genius Chuck Berry really is. He's a skilled guitarist!

60's: Probably "Let It Be" by the Beatles. A good melody and I do like the guitar solo by George Harrison. That or "Purple Haze" by Jimi Hendrix. Excellent song.

70's: "Stairway To Heaven". Great solo, great acoustic part, and just a great song. But it's so overrated and it's not what Led Zeppelin is all about.

80's: Hard to say...maybe "Hallowed Be Thy Name" by Iron Maiden. I think that was the defining song of the NWOBHM era.

90's: "Paranoid Android" by Radiohead. Wow, what a song.

00's: Very hard to say. Maybe "By The Way" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
