It's okay that you don't quite know yet, so take your time. I can't tell you what to do, but If it were me, I think I'd go with college. Even though you don't know what you want to study, it can come to you later. So you can go into it with an undeclared major. Sometimes it takes students a few years to declare their major, or they might change it from what they though they wanted in the beginning. But college is a good idea, it's always a good backup and it's a great experience. I'd talk to some college students and see what they think. Just explore.
But I suppose the military isn't a bad idea either. I'm assuming you're American, and if I were you, I wouldn't want to go into it because of the "war". I support the troops, just not the war. So until it ends, I'd probably steer clear of it. But it is a good option. They pay for everything and it is also a good experience as well.
I hope I was helpful and good luck to you. I'm sure you'll do well in either. It's really up to you, ultimately. Cheers!

Not sure how old you are but it sounds like you have some time to decide what you want to do.... If you get good grades in school, I'd opt for college especially NOW with everyone heading off to Iraq....I SUPPORT OUR TROOPS, NOT THE WAR !!! You can start out in a community college with Liberal arts courses --which are required no matter what you major in in college.... Most colleges today allow almost all the credits to transfer from the community college so when you are ready to go to a 4 year school for your major, you will have already completed 2 years of study by going to the less expensive ( but equally as good education) community college...Usually by the end of a student's second year, they have made the decision as to what their major will be.... it could be law enforcement/criminal justice (police, correction officer, probation officer), or pre-med (doctor) or maybe an animal doctor or whatever......making your mom happy isn't a BAD thing you know!!!!!! I'm a mom....my son did do military AFTER college...received better pay and rank due to the college education too...

dear you... the first thing that u have to do is to look for what you like. it's gonna be you who'll doing it and live with it, so don't mind to what people suggest you...not even your mom, if your choise is not going to be what she wants you to take. what you have to prepare is your mental, whatever it's going to be. prepare your self to do what you have choose and realize the consequances. trying to be a good adult. be responsible for your action. whatever it is, i'm sure it's the best for you. one more thing...do with your heart to make it easy and fun to do. ok, good luck for you....don't forget to let me know what will you choose. =)

this is one of lifes biggest questions/
you need to decide for yourself what you are interested in.
sounds like you are young so you have your whole life ahead of you. the best advice i can give you is to find something that you like to do and then find a way to get paid for doing it. good luck but you do need to decide.
