In Japanese, the word MIHARU means "to watch, to stand guard, to look out for. (according to an online Japanese-English dictionary).

Also, according to a Yahoo search, there is a city in Japan named Miharu-machi. The word miharu means what I typed above, and machi refers to a "town, street, or road". The above-named dictionary does not have any exact matches for "Three springs." However, 3 in Japanese is "Mittsu", and spring is "haru" .
