Why did they get rid of the adorable little guy?? the commercials were soo much better.

I too love the Gecko! I hate the caveman deal. That poor little gecko was sold out for a caveman! Sad Sad story

Did they junk the gecko? I can still c the ads w/ it but I'd h8 2 think those could b the last. The cavemen r gettin' tiresome; I predict will still c commercials w/ the gecko once the caveman sitcom is cancelled.
Incidentally, do u remember a Geico ad which had a couple doing a "Tiny House" reality show?

I love the gecko. He's on a million times a day in Chicago. Then again, so are the cavemen. Where is Geico getting all this money lol. I heard they are basing a movie or TV show or something around the cavemen. Don't know if it's true, this is all I could find.

He will live on forever in the endless universe of information we call the internet. From now until the end of time, those who miss the old Geico mascot can just google "gecko" and find your little green, shiny friend. Video, pictures and maybe even a short screenplay are bound to be available at the click of a mouse. For the record, i am with you. I love the gecko... but i still won't miss him.

Yeah, I miss him too. The cave men are ok, but they only had those two good commercials. At first I thought they should have their own show, but when they actually did come out with a cavemen t.v. show, it seemed kinda like overkill. And I don't think the t.v. show cavemen are even the same dudes. (They should've done a movie first). The gecko was a cutie and so clever! and...he had little muscles like he lifted little tiny weights or something! LOL as they say!

Yeah, he was awesome! They barely use his commercials anymore. Airtime for ads is filled with the effin' cavemen! The commercials are just dumb, and they're on television WAY too much. Bring back the gecko, Geico!

ok the geicko gecko is cute and has a funny accent but how far can you take that. how much satisfaction can you really get out of that. there's actually a funny punchline and a story behind the cavemen. and the costumes are great. every commercial is like an snl skit it's great i like the gecko but after one or two commercials it's like ok that's great let's move on

The Gecko was cool but all things change and they wanted something fresher and brought in the cavemen. Some time down the road the cavemen will be extinct.
