Okami was awarded best game of the year by IGN if I'm not mistaken. I'm playing it right now, and trust me, it's a lot of fun.
Final Fantasy XII is a good choice as well, since it adds to a whole new style to RPG gaming, other than Kingdom Hearts. Always rely on SquareEnix to deliver you the gorgeous and good RPG. Another excellent choice of RPG would be Shadow Hearts: Covenant. Intriguing gameplay, and engaging sidequests.
I heard that Gears of War is really good as well.
Then there's Silent Hill 4, and Fatal Frame III:The Tormented if you like horror. Fatal Frame III is a fresh way to play survival horror since you exorcise ghosts using a camera. Not to mention its a helluva scary game to play.
Then we have Disgaea 2 if you'd like strategy based games. It makes fun of a lot of stuff by giving odd names to the weapons and stuff.
Yea, sorry if I'm giving you too many *** games for your liking. But hey, if you like the sound of any of them, pick your pick, they're all good.
