First off I say thank you for standing up and saying the child is part yours, you are taking responsibility. There is so many men that don't. I think women have the right to chose...women in most cases will have a child if the father takes responsibility. However, I have seen many cases in which a child is brought into a world of mistreatment, hunger and abuse. Some people are not good parents and should not have children. Sadly those people just don't care and a child suffers. Legislation proposed to prevent abortion also has hidden language that prohibits all forms of birth control which includes condoms, birth control pills & such. It also prevents in the case of rape. If a woman does not want a child she will in most cases not properly take care of the child. A woman is the only keeper of her body. To make the law to prevent your rights would only encourage other things people try to enforce you to do. If many people decide you can't be sterilized or decide everyone has to be part of the same religion - is that far?

I will support non abortion when each and every person that is for stopping abortion adopts the many children in the adoption system. It is called a little less talk and more action on their part. However they want to complaint but don't want to help. It's cheaper and easier for them to tell people what to do then help the harmed children in the world. The legal system does not properly protect the abused and neglected children - why, the laws prevent it and too many cases. I had my children and I love them dearly. Many many children out there do not have that in their life. Instead of signs and bumper stickers ADOPT & Give to centers for them. How many of those have even given to the poor for xmas?

If you want the child -- tell her --- get attorney if really want the child.

I'm not sure how to read this question but I am reading it two ways and here are my responses:

I am not pro-abortion but no, it's not your child.

You are assuming that the person getting the abortion is on some sort of welfare system or dependent on others to pay for the abortion and this isn't always the case.

I wish that more women would take responsibility for the life inside them and chose life over abortion but trying to control other's lives isn't the way to accomplish this.

I won't preach on, but you can't claim stake to a baby because you pay taxes to pay for pre-natal office visits or because you pay for government funding for abortion. Otherwise you'd own schools and roads, too.

If you are talking about a child you pay child support for you need to be there to be a daddy. It is your child biologically but if you aren't there to raise it and be there to care for it you really don't get a say.

If you think the mom wants to kill the child because it is hers though you need to step up and act now.

However, if you are just using the word "kill" as an exaggertation I don't like the choice of your words. Most moms work their a$$es off to raise their kids and they feel very protective of them.

Well, I am a woman, and i dont think that i own my children, it took me and my hubby to make the children, so they are ours. Paying for children doesnt make them yours. They are yours and hers. Listen i know your upset over the abortion, but you have two loving sons, that love you, i'm sure, be there for them, support them, do what is ask of you from the courts, and if you do just that, and dont screw anything up with her, you might just get them back. Keep a watch on her and wait till she screws up and get those boys back. abortion in my eyes should not be allowed, those babies did not ask to be made and then in return have their lives taken away. Everyone thinks that just because you have the abortion early that its not a baby, but when you go to the doctors for the first time you find out your pregnant, that baby has a heart beat. Women who chose this path, makes me sick, but in the end it is their choice, WELCOME TO AMERICA.

I dont think a child belongs to anyone unless only 1 person is raising it and paying for everything that the child needs. Paying for it doesnt make it yours however, not yours alone. a child belongs to both parents. Not all women think that just because they gave birth that it belongs to them and not the father as well.

Of course the child belongs to the woman, until it is born. It's part of her body! After birth, it belongs to both, until it's old enough to belong to itself. (Though we could argue that we all belong to the government, but lets not get into that.)
Are you in this situation? Ask her to go through with the baby, because you want to take custody after it's born. Make sure you support her during this time. I read about some culture, somewhere, where the father is the man who supports the woman through pregnancy, not neccessarily the man who impregnated her. I think they have something there. In our culture it's best it's the same bloke, but I do think they have something.

Some ppl think is bad to "buy" a child, but never realize how many moms kill their babies, so it doesn't matter if you pay to get the child as long as love that child more than your own life. I think what make a baby yours is the love you give to him/her. But you'll kill a mother's heart if you get a baby abducted. Good luck.

i assume you are speaking of abortion..and actually its her right...you have rights...its her body ..you cannot force someone to carry a child they dont feel ready to have or do not want...there are other methods to prevent this but sometimes mistakes are made..fathers tend to pay less than a mother does...and i mean no disrespect...my children have a great dad...but there are things he has no clue about and doesnt want to know and mine are teens...my daughter and i may argue...but when its something she needs i am the one she goes too...same for my son...i make the decisons for the most part concerning the both of them...that is my right as a mother.

to kill if they chose to?? any mom threatening to kill their child needs the cops called on them ASAP, you hear about those luney moms who drown their children and kill them.

and paying for a child makes it yours?? you talk about a child like it's a car.

I hope any child you are referencing is alright, because having a mother threatening to kill it and a father who thinks just cause they pay child support it's theres is truly in a dysfunctional situation
