Me- Buderim on the sunshine coast, cold in winter mild in summer but less than 15 mins to the beautiful beaches of Mooloolaba.

Hard to say at this stage...there's still a few places I want to check out. I imagine it will definitely be here in Oz...just not sure where.

(Buderim is a great spot......go the ginger factory!)

I'd like to retire in the Cascade mountain range in Washington state, or the Rockies in Idaho or Montana, preferably in a small cabin with just me, friends once in a while, a few animals, and the trees and plants and birds :-)

sounds nice... i remember visiting both the sunshine coast and mooloolaba back about ten years ago. they were beautiful! as for me, i think i'll retire here in my hometown.

Lanai.

Great golf, great accommodation (four seasons) and great food. The climate variation also is appealing-seaside or mountainside within an hour. And Maui is just a ferry ride away.
