I had a roommate and she just moved out. I had roommates before and of course there was arguing which I hate. Anyway one of my friends said that I could move in with her. The only advantage that I can see is I will be saving money. Its difficult for two women to live together at times. Plus its her apartment and she is the queen and the ruler of the apartment so she has the right to kick me out at anytime. Would you take that risk just to save money or would you spend your last dime paying your rent just to maintain your independence?

Where I am its safe, great location, parking is perfect and I have complete quiet, independence and freedom. My friend is about 8 yrs older than me and I am sure she will have that I know more than you attitude because she has it now.

I'd go with the roommate idea. Make sure you discuss how things will work before you move in. Agree that if things aren't working, that you get a grace period to find a new place. I prefer to live on my own, too. But I've also had the roomie situation work out really well. If you like and trust your friend well enough (and vice versa)---go for it!

if you can afford it, live alone. sometimes the stress is not worth the savings. plus--if you already know her to be "the queen and ruler," you may find yourself in a worse situation when she decides to kick you out. then you're stuck with no place to go, and may end up having to pay more to find yourself another place.
if it is indeed "your last dime," then maybe you need to just bite it and live with her, until you've saved enough money to afford the independence.

Live by yourself. I have seen the best of friends move in together and before you know it they are practically gonna kill each other. It is best if you live by yourself and save your sanity instead of money.

It's up to you if you want to tolerate her atittude, but I's get a rental agreement from her. Even if it's something on notebook paper, get her to sign it.
