As a young teen, my grandma and I would sit on her front porch swing and talk about life in general...she told me her marriage was arranged, she didn't even know who her husband to be was until they met at the altar. She said she went to bed scared, but the next morning she loved that man so much !!!! Yes, I think they had sex, and a lot of it! My mom has /had 6 sibs....Sadly for my grandmother, her husband died of a heart attack at 42. But I will never forget, "the next morning, I loved that man so...." That is a love story.....

I only knew one set of grandparents and yes, I can imagine them being intimate. They loved one another dearly and she married him at a young age. Even so, they were as though they were sewn together at the hip! Best of friends!
They would hold hands sometimes when sitting on the front porch. Both, very quiet people but, spoke volumes in their silence. They were married for sixty-two years when my grandmother passed away. My grandfather was NEVER the same. It was as though a huge part of him died and was buried with her.
Even though, I do not envision them intimately, I can certainly see that they were and it was spawn out of their love for one another.

My grandparents - hardly since they're all dead. My parents as well. But, I suspect you mean when they were old, alive and nasty looking. I can't even imagine it without being sickened nor can I imagine this type of intimacy occurring to me either, now that I'm old and nasty looking, too.
Once the drive drives off and the hormones go south you can really see what a dirty trick Mother Nature played on you all those years and you have to ask yourself, "What the hell was I thinking being involved in something so disgusting?"

I couldn't imagine my own parents getting intimate let alone my grandparents. I would hope that intimacy last through out your life, but I don't want to imagine anyone else being intimate.

I don't want to imagine it but my grand mother told me they still had a sex life before they died in their 90's.
And I know my parents do. They are in their late 70's. Gracious ,I could tell tons of funny stories on them but I will give you an idea. Mom had private screening put on her back patio. She could see out but no one could see in. Dad came out soon afterwards to find mom on the swing in the nude. so he went back in the house and stripped down and went to the door shaking his manhood and saying "see here world, I still have it". Mom burst out laughing because the door was the only place that didn't have a private screen.
It may seem odd to others that my mom shares these stories with me but I see it as a tribute as to why they are still together. LIVE, LOVE and LEARN.

Nope! They've been dead for over 70 years. Not trying to be funny but it's the truth.

My parents stayed sexually active WITHOUT the use of Viagra, until my father's treatment for prostate cancer in his late 80's. (The preferred treatment was castration.)
