I have recently acquired an old padlock and want to find out what it's worth. It is made of brass and is riveted together. The brand name on it is "ENDERS", and it has one key that is still wrapped in grease and wax paper. Does anyone know where I can find out what this might be worth?

Answer number one has a good clue. I'll add a couple of suggestions.

Have you attempted a WWW search / browser/ keywords?

Do you have a local Historical society, or museum?

Are there any other markings/ numbers/ info. on the lock that might narrow your search?

I just did a modest search and found this link. I'm sure there are dozens.

Find an Lock Smith who has been in business for many years. A nice guy in his 70's would know that.
