I would love to be an actor for disney channel and i am working hard to get it. I am also taking theater classes. i am 15 years old. how do you find out when they need roles? how do you contact disney channel? What do i need to do? i dont really have guidence to these things so i need step by step guidence please!!! And even if i dont get a part i would rather look back knowing that i tried than looking back never knowing. thank you.

Also, i live in california which might make things easier.

Also, i was thinking that if i audition for a small part in a commercial first it would open doors for disney??

Well besides the book of details I gave you in my other answer, living in CA is good, but living specifically in Los Angeles is better.

Auditioning for a commercial will not open many doors, but you always keep networking in mind. Of course booking the job is something to put on your resume and every time you meet someone new, that's a new contact. Always be a great person to work with and people will remember that.

Before trying to sign on with a specific company, first prove yourself. Look for advertising worded for auditions. If you make a good impression you might get a part. Prove your talent and someone will offer you other parts or even playing a role for an extended period of time. In time you may be able to land a contract with Disney or anyone else. So, in a nutshell, make a good first impression.

I have been receiving many inquiries from parents and kids looking for information about Disney Channel Auditions and Casting calls. I've put together a web page with information and resources on how to pursue getting acting and extra work on the Disney Channel.

its best to get an agent and dont be silly and get trapped into scams. if youre in the business you should knwo that you NEVER pay your agent money or any talent agency anything, espeically before you get any auditions. i heard that agents only get like ten percent of your compensation AFTER you;ve booked your job. i learned that the hard way today acutally not a cool story
