unfortunately, yes. it's called a miscarriage until the fetus could live outside the mother, and then it's a stillbirth

After 20 weeks it's considered a still birth. The sad reality is that you can loose your child at any point during the pregnancy. But don't stress over it. If you've seen and heard the heartbeat, and your baby is growing just fine, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Congrats!!

I don't know if it is considered a miscarrage at 20 weeks. Would probably be considered a still birth.

Yes it is possible although rare.. The youngest baby ever born and lived was I believe 21 weeks.. so if a baby is born that early there is still a slight chance of hope.

I miscarried at 20 weeks and 3 days.
The number one reason to miscarry in your 2nd trimester is an incompetent cervix, it just means your cervix either opens early or buldges to let the amniotic sac go further down which breaks vessles in your cervix and throws you into premature labor.
I had a stitch placed in my cervix with my 2nd pregnancy at 17weeks. and I now have a happy 7 week old.

Hi!!
Yes it's possible but the majority of miscarriages occur in the first trimester ( 3 months). You shouldn't worry unless you've experienced cramping or spotting.
Good luck!!

Yes, it's possible to miscarry at 5 months. A woman can miscarry at any stage of pregnancy due to a number of complications.

It is possible. If the pregnancy is unhealthy, there is something wrong with the fetus or the woman pregnant..very possible..but you gave so little information that you cannot say if it is still birth caused by some external substance or miscarriage due to natural causes.
