Okay unless you have purchased a car for racing why exactly would you want to know how fast it goes. You have a Ford Explorer which would probably turn over on it's side if switched from lane to land on an Interstate at a speed above 85.

Speed governors can be defeated with the right tools anyway. When 1994-99 Toyota Supras were speed governed to a 'safe' 140mph, or somewhere along there, countless of aftermarket parts popped up that would reprogram (or totally disable) the governors.

I've taken it over 100 when it was new, but I definitely got in more of a hurry than taking time to look at the speedometer. It's a Toyota Corolla 2000.

It gets up to 120 km pH but it doesn't like to go any fastest, the car behaves strangely beyond that point and plus I am too scared to push it.....I value my life. I have a Mitsubishi Lancer, 4 cylinder....(p.s I'm in Australia we work in Kilometers per hour here not miles)
