I can olny see a AL double header record.
They olny need 3 more runs I believe if they want to set a American League record.
They are 9 runs away from setting the MLB record.
Edit : They broke the AL Record.

Yeah. In the 4th inning, the Orioles will begin a run that will end the game with a 30-3 Oriole victory! It's destined to happen!
Staying serious, they've already tied a Yankee record for runs in a doubleheader, set during the good ol' days, and now they're like 4 runs away from history. The record is, what, 36 runs.

The Rangers have already set a franchise record for most runs scored in a doubleheader...
...before playing the second game.

Yes, they're going to do it quite easily it seems, especially with a fresh Sosa in the lineup. If he homers, that's it, new A.L. record.
They need to score 6 in Game 2 to tie the modern record and the A.L. record.
They need to score 13 in Game 2 to tie the Major League record.

30 runs, probobly get shut out in the next game. I'd be happy if my Stros would score six runs tonight. Hunter Pence rocks...
