and needing to lay down to make it improve - (still not great but a bit better)

When I stare at the computer screen, if only for 10 minutes - I feel so dizzy and off balance I have to lay down, which helps a bit...

When I have a shower I have to face away from the wall (into bathroom) because the walls seem to make me feel dizzier and more unbalanced and I feel like I am going to lose balance and fall, so I get in and out as quick as possible.

Also tired a lot, very fatigued.

Its like a dizzy light headed unbalanced sensation and its rather scary. It is an everyday occurance now.

Doctors keep telling me I have anxiety - and I DO - but this is NOT anxiety - I KNOW the difference.

Other syptoms include prolonged periods... weeks at a time... including some clotting...
For this the Dr said take some iron tablets and he took bloods to check for anemia (though he looked at my eyes and somehow knew it wasnt that )- Im waiting for them to come back.

Any ideas?

Also sometimes I feel like I have difficulty breathing, like I am breathing too fast and getting too much oxygen - but I cant determine wether this is anxiety related or not...

Sometimes just standing makes me feel like **** and I have to sit down - again I dont know if this is anxiety related or not... but there is definately something here other than anxiety.

And yes I will be seeing DR again real soon. Small town - not many appointment dates, waiting for blood tests to come back.

Consider, keeping a chronological log of how you feel, and everything you consume, i.e., food, drink, medication, supplement. You may find a pattern, reflective of an allergy, or hypoglycemia. If you have access to a glucose meter, take serum glucose readings during symptoms.

Another area to explore is your vision. Do you wear glasses ? When was the last time you visited an ophthalmologist, or optometrist ? Does television watching, or reading, have the same consequences as viewing your computer monitor?

I hope, you fell better soon.

Sounds to me like you are experiencing something that is stress related. Locate an acupuncturist to help you (be sure he is licenced). Acupuncture is not recognised as a viable medical treatment, but in spite of what modern medicine says, it is quite effective for treating the whole body, not just a single organ. In the meantime, small doses of xanax or ativan may help. You might want to also have an MRI or CT scan done. Hope you find relief soon.
