Hi, there are good in everyone but not all do good. And some people even do the wrong and think they are doing the right thing (example the prostitutors do it either for them to take care of their family or to care for themselves) believing that is right rather is wrong.
I pray that God should help us to always do the right thing. Amen.

Your mother's a wonderful person, and we'd all be better off if there were more people like her.
I think most people start out good people, and start out doing the best they can. They see other people getting it a little easier because they slack off, and slowly realize just doing well isn't enough to get you ahead in life anymore, and the people with the Playstation 3s are the ones that aren't trying very hard at all.
There's some people that continue on doing the best they can anyway, though. And it's because of them that we even have a world to live in.
I think some people eventually find that life is about making the world a better place, and others find that life is about getting ahead in the world. You can't really fault people for either, but I tend to listen to the people in the first category more myself.

I think that your mother is a wonderful, optimistic, loving person. The unfortunate truth is that most people don't do the the best that they can. They expect to get something for nothing. And there are many people that I think its hard to find any good in - pedophiles, racists, serial killers. But I commend your mother for her ability to continue to look for the best and the good in everyone.

I believe that there is good in everybody, they just dont always choose to follow the right path. As for doing the best they can do, same applies.

Absolutely not. My piano teacher calls me "half-baked." He says that because although I apparenntly have an extremely nice talent and play very well when I practice and put my heart into it, I hardly doing so making me a very average piano-player :x.
I don't believe that everyone has good within them, but do think that in everyone's personal and individual perspectives think they are doing good. For example, a person may commit a crime but do so because they need it (like rob a jewlery store to feed his family). Although the deed within itself is wrong, in his own perspective it is justified.
