I'm one of them, I've met a few and I'm aware there's a minority in the indian community but I'm curious roughly what the amount is who hate cricket or those who just hate sports altogether.

dannyboy, I'm aware Indians like cricket cos its the only sport they are able to play and the other thing, I was born and raised in Australia which makes me Australian, I'm only Indian by heritage just like an Anglo or some other Euro blooded Aussie is Euro by heritage.

Other than you, I do not know of anyone specially from Indian
subcontinent. I fail to understand why people need to hate
at something? Whether it is sport, tv shows, religion?
When hatred is built mostly due to social differences and the
way you may have been brought up.

Indians may not be good at playing any sport, but they are
good at watching and following them. They are good at the
stats, as they may have been good in Math. So when someone from Indian origin does good like Paes,
Bhupathi or Mirza everyone jumps on the bandwagon.

I'm Indian by heritage and I hate the sport! Its boring! I have a dad, brother-in-law and husband who love it but not me.

I've watched some games and I could not stand it. Now my husband has a bright idea that I should do the scoring for their games...errrr.... I rather clean the bathroom! That takes a whole lot less time!

most indians hate all sports except maybe cricket. its because india is really bad at all sports so what's the point following a sport when there's no "national pride" involved in that sport. the only reason indians seem to like cricket more is because they're "okay" at the game, which makes other people try to follow in their tracks. i dont blame you at all for hating sports, if you live in india. if you live in some other country (usa, uk, aus), then youre answer might be a bit different

edit: well, it just may be you. maybe you just dont like sports and thats just your personality which is unique for everyone.
