I think you only get one wish for the falling star, where as The Genie you're suppose to have three. And if the Genie is a smart genie they envoke the no wishing for other wishes rule. I like the falling star choice because I've yet to see a Genie?

Depends upon how many wishes the Genie will give you. If you wish on the falling star, you only get the one wish and you have to make it quickly. With a Genie, you have the potential for receiving more than one wish granted and might have a bit more time to decide what they should be. Either way there's no guarantee you are going to get what you wish!

If I could get my hand on a genie I'd want to make my wishes, but seeing as their so elusive wishing on a falling star would probably get more results.

Wishing on a falling star. Genies are too likely to have unwelcome fine print attached to wish fulfilling.
