but he didnt cite it for going in, those of us that remember vietnam really well, like myself didnt want to go into iraq, i called my senators and begged them to not vote for iraq because i knew this would happen

I was going to say no, but - yes, it is funny when you put it that way. Started learning the lessons of Vietnam a little late there.

We never belonged in Viet Nam and we sure NEVER belonged in Iraq, which by the way is turning into another Viet Nam.

its not funny at all. its correct. liberals killed that with doing the exact same thing. pulling the rug out from under the ford administration killed southeast asia like the ridiculous concept of cut and run will kill this.
