start by doing something small... take acting classes at your school and do the shows. Even if you aren't a star you can still be an actress. I'm an actress and I'm not known to anyone except locally... acting isn't about being famous or money its about the art. Just keep that in mind as you start.

If you buy a magazine like Seventeen or Cosomo!Girl there are always advertisements for modeling schools or agents in/on the back pages. Just be careful not to fall for a scam.
