$585 for the entire apartment, unless it is being rented out by room.

I think you need to have someone read your lease for you. I certainly wouldn't sign any lease until you can read and understand better than you do now. Without seeing your lease I can't tell, and it sounds like you can't either, even with reading it. Get some help.pp

i agree with Maloumg i think you both have to pay $585.00 .but to be certain please call the owner of the building it could have been a printing error. good luck
