I read that casual gaming has gone up 79% in the past few years.
it's becoming a more socially acceptable pastime and no longer the refuge of the pasty D&D geek sweating over a text based RPG.
the advances in gaming are also progressing in leaps and bounds, with Wiimotes and Voice activated commands, the player is becoming more and more immersed into the world of gaming.
Second Life allows people to be everything they wanted to be and live out a fantasy life.
do you think that eventually we'll have games like the Matrix or Total Recall, that you don't even know you're playing them until it's over and it immerses you completely?
