I work with a guy that is interested in an older woman. She is 15 years older than him. I was just wondering if guys like older women and why?

Younger guys pursue an older woman for a couple of reasons. One is less game playing. If an older woman is participating in flirtation with a younger guy, sex is almost a sure thing. Not so with younger women. Another reason is younger women often want to be wined and dined. An older woman won't expect that from a younger guy and may even pay. Then an older woman is less inhibited sexually. I still think it's more of a new trend than the other replies. I've talked to women who have had boytoys and most of them were just curious/bored, but end up not really sharing much in common with the boytoy when it comes to longterm relationships. There are exceptions, of course. But mostly it's about sex.

Personally...I Love them. This has been around for a along time but in the present men have admitted to liking women older then them. ex: Harold and Maude. SOme men love older women becuase they are mature, know what they want, sexier and more developed then ones their age or younger. I am 17 and i am begginng to look at women in their 30's. I am hoping to have a relationship with someone who is at least 24-29.

before i got married that was all i was really interested in were older women, i did that because i found older women had a better idea of what they wanted were as with younger women what they wanted seemed to change as often as the weather

I was seeing one 8 years younger then me he was seeing both of us at the same time for 2 months. He choose her and she is 13 years older then him so i guess some do i am looking for one chose to my age or a few years older. I don't need a boy toy!

I think they do for different reasons. I've been approached by younger men - young enough to be my kids (of course, I told them no way). Their reasons: older women are independent and not needy like younger ones.

Women have a certain amount of sex appeal to younger guys. I dated an older woman for awhile. I had fun with her.

I used to date a guy who was 6 years younger than I was. He said he liked the fact that I wasn't the jealous type and wasn't always wanting to know what he was doing and who with. I had my own things to do at that time and I saw him when I saw him and that was that.

Any man who knows anything about women prefers them over 40. They don't come into their own as women until around that time.
