Possible that the child is your hubby's? Yes. Unlikely? Also yes, especially since you've never gotten pregnant in the last 11 years. If you want to find out for sure do a blood or DNA test. If you don't care because when it comes right down to it a child is a child... than don't have the test and just be happy you have a healthy, happy child.

You daughter's father is STILL her father and he must be given a chance to respond to this situation. You may have to prove that you have done EVERYTHING possible to contact him, unless you can convince the judge that he can not otherwise be found. If you had copies of the deportation paper work, that might help. Due to the difficulty of proving the father cannot be found, and the "international" problem in this situation, YOU WILL NEED A LAWYER to help you with this case. it IS NOT going to be a normal, cut-and-dried adpotion case. GET A LAWYER, and get legal advice and guidance. The one thing you DO NOT want is to disappoint this girl by making her think she is adopted, and then find some legal loophole why she is not. GET A LAWYER.

It is possible that the operation wasn't a complete success. It's probably not safe to do a DNA test until the second trimester using Amniocentesis. Your husband should go in and have his sperm count tested too. Then you'll at least know if it's a possiblity that it's his.

Get out of the swinger lifestyle, having sex with other people than your husband is wrong. It's called adultery. And by being in that kind of lifestyle, neither you or your husband are respecting each other, because if you respected each other, you wouldn't need to have sex with other people. Be satisfied with each other.
I used to be in that lifestyle and it's nothing but a lifestyle of lies.

Being swingers I can see but why wouldn't you use condoms or at least be on birth control. What do you do if it isn't your husbands? Does your husband feel a need to take care of someone elses baby? There are more questions you need to ask yourself......

Your husband got fixed and after 11 years no off-springs! Come on. You know this is not your husbands seed! Time to Stop Swinging! And start deciding on the welfare of your child.

That is always a risk you take with that kind of lifestyle.
The only way to know for sure is to have a paternity test.
It's HIGHLY unlikely that this could be your hubby's due to the fact that he had a vasectomy. It is a highly effective one-time procedure that provides permanent contraception.

well, have you ever heard that after a period of time, if a woman's tubes were tied a certain way that the tubes can come untied and the woman can get pregnant again? well, I can't imagine it's that much different for men. I've heard these stories many times, and now they say to cut and burn before tying. maybe his tubes came loose. if it's that big of a deal, then have a paternity test done. if it's his, consider it a miracle, something meant to be.

The % chance of it being your husbands is so astronomically low it is best not to even delude yourself that the child is his. However, if you like, you can get a DNA test for about $200.
