Believe it or not, the quality testing for these kinds of items includes extreme shock/drop tests. They will simulate the force of the item being dropped from the back of a semi truck, and all the bouncing around inside it. They use a special machine that shakes them really really hard. (Years ago, RCA even banged on their televisions with a large rubber mallet, lol.)

If the item dropped onto a hard surface, you might see some plastic broken. As someone else said, if you've plugged it in and its working, you should be fine.

You can always remove the exterior case, and inspect the interior for broken parts. (unlpug it first, lol)

Good Luck

I used to have an "evil" oven... We have been given it as a hand-me-down and the burners labored advantageous... What i did no longer understand became into the oven could pass to the self cleansing cycle/temp whenever you tried to bake... So, i attempted to make a crimson velvet heart formed cake for my husband for valentines day.... I mixed the batter and placed it interior the oven. i became into vacuuming some rooms over and my neighbor got here to visit via fact SMOKE became into billowing out my lower back door! The cake became into interior the oven 10-15 minutes and became into burned.. It regarded like a heart formed charcoal briquette! So, each time I bake a cake even in our NEW oven he constantly jogs my memory of that incident!

It would depend on how it was built and how it landed. The shock gotta go somewhere. With electronics, I would say you have a high probability of trashing the unit beyond repair.

I would expect the damage to be more costly to repair than to buy a new one.
