Why isn't the USA trying to set up a democracy in the USA? We have a republic, not a democracy. We vote on "representatives", not issues. We do have a very good constitution and a fair system of checks and balances. It's not bad, but it's not a true democracy.

When will ordinary americans wake up and see bs when its holdin you by the lead. Look at how it has overthrown many prosperous latin american nations, and replaced democracies with tyrany with leaders of their choosing. Its almost too disgusting to digest reading that there are still people out there, who still believe that america's military involvement has always been for some moral crusade. The fact is, America destroys other countries economies routinely when it seizes a nations jugular when it buys up the nations potential resources and pays the very few wealthy peanuts in return.

Its a fact that since WWII, america has played a hand in the overthrow of no less than 50 democracies many vibrant and prosperous countries, who just didn't want to lay down to US intimidation to co-operate financially.

The invasion of Iraq was played to the public , not as Iraq being a threat to kuwait, that was george snrs story 14ys ago, no george juniors reason was "WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION" didn't you hear that ?? !!! None were found... and none ever will be, though i guess there will be some who say YET in say 70 perhaps. Iraq was also fingered to have been involved in 911, even though the CIA found 13 or so out of the 15 highjackers were saudi... most of which were found to be alive and well living in other countries, leading normal lives at the time of the incident, yet their passports were found.
Look take a good look at yourself, imagine your country is at the lower end of the power scale, and you have the country at the highest staring down at the others with a constantly loaded M16 just in case they look at him the wrong way, Thats who you have allowed your leaders to have you portrayed to the outside world, but your so clued into the national monopolized media outlets that you live and breath their projected reality.
Is there really any difference from a 20x20 perspective on the ignorance of a nations people can become over the evil of its countries decision makers as that of the US as to those people who allowed Hitler into power, We don't see the dead bodies on our doorsteps or streets but be sure of this, its happening to others thousands of miles elsewhere, as a direct result of US influence.

King Abdullah is a sturdy guy and his father became a reliable guy as nicely. They have been protesting the minister under him in Jordan, no longer the King himself. Down with Saudi Arabia. Down with Kuwait. as long as those countries do no longer become terrorists states a l. a. Iran.

Islam will not and does not allow for a democracy as we know it. Take a course in Religious and Middle Eastern Culture. Their religion is their politics. Islam is Dominant in all facets of life, that's what the Bureaucrats in Washington cease to understand! Democracy is an encroachment on their Culture!

Lack of a plausible pretext to invade. Finding an excuse to invade an ally is actually pretty difficult.

Partly because they didn't attack their neighbors, and partly because they didn't have WMD's, yes I know we didn't find any, but we didn't know that until we got there. If Hussein hadn't spent so much time screwing around with the UN inspectors and playing games we wouldn't be there today.
