I visit both infrequently (once a month at most), and was wondering is Subway really any healthier if you're only eating once in a while. A Big Mac in the UK, has 495 calories, medium fries has 340, as I drink Diet Coke, there's no calories there, so that's 835 calories in total. A foot long subway sandwich has about 800 calories after all the fillings, etc, and a lot of people eat with packet of crisps or something else, which adds another 100-120.
So, for infrequent visits, is there realy any health benifit in going to Subway?

Good factor with Subway is that you'll be able to have precisely what you desire on your sub, however McDonalds nonetheless make extra attempt with their meals (as a manufacturer). McDonalds present a lot more beverages and muffins, not like Subway. You can get espresso and tea, the common delicate beverages, juice, or even milkshakes. I just like the McFlurries and the way they generally difference, the sundaes and ice cream cones. There is so a lot more type with meals: chips, hen nuggets, wedges, or even apple pies. It may be very convenient to reserve meals from McDonalds, and the whole lot is bigger significance for cash there. All subway have are subs, meatballs, cookies and crisps... Although I decide on to not have speedy meals in any respect, I'd so much as a substitute have McDonalds out of the two.

Subway is healthier - just use common sense when laying on the "extras" - sometimes there's so much the mayo and cheese can't even be tasted. Once in a great while I suppose a McD's would be ok - but personally I would always prefer a 6" sub - there are so many nutritious ones now that taste geat.

Unless you get all your info from TV then no its not. The only time subway is better is if you get a 6" with no cheese and no mayonnaise. And I’m sure that if you got a plain hamburger it would probably be pretty close to a 6" sub. They are all made up of the same thing, bread, meat, cheese, and exc. You can even get them both warmed in a microwave now. Subway sounds more appetizing to me though.

Infrequently know. Diets are maintained by the consistency of the foods you eat. If one day you are hungry and want to go to McDonalds over Subway, it won't have a drastic effect on you.

Either one once in a while is not big deal. But to eat McDonald's 3x daily will ruin your liver. Didn't you see that show where the guy only ate MD's for 30 days. And at the end the fat around is liver was amazing!

I'm not saying Subway has nothing unhealthy on their menu, but percentage-wise, if you compare the two menus, Subway has far more healthy choices than McDonald's.
