YOU CAN USE CLAMPS, IF POSSIBLE USE FLAT BAND CLAMPS, LAY BAND CLAMP FLAT, COVER THE SIDE THAT WILL BE IN CONTACT W/EXHAUST PIPE DIRECTLY, W/HIGH TEMP SILICONE, TIGHTEN DOWN. I GARAUNTEE THAT THE EXHAUST WILL RUST/ROT OUT BEFORE YOU GET AN EXHAUST LEAK, IF DONE PROPERLY.
NOW I KNOW SOMEONE WILL SEE THIS AND SAY YEAH RIGHT, WELL THEN YOU HAVE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE. YOU WOULD THINK THAT THE SILICONE WOULD BURN, WELL IT WONT. CAUSE IT IS COMPRESSED UNDER THE CLAMP, SO IT CANT BURN OFF.

It honestly isn't needed. If you watch any dealership, they use factory clamps to add systems like yours. BMW doesn't weld their exhaust upgrades at dealerships. If the pipes are fitted properly and the clamps secured, the exhaust gases aren't that much an issue. If you really have questions, go to www.borla.com and look at their FAQ's for suggestions. Aftermarket add-ons are exactly that, add-on.

Unless you like leaking sounds from your exhaust, get it welded.

You could use good FULL clamps from your local speed shops but I would recommend you weld it.

No, they can be bolted on, but welded would be better.... for leaks and everything....
