I fell from about two feet up a few days ago, but at the time I didn't think I was hurt. A few hours later, my ankle started bothering me, so I got some ice... it ached all the next day (yesterday), so I got a compression wrap for it, and also kept it wrapped today. The aching went down a little, so I took off the wrap for an hour or so after work, but now the pain in my ankle seems to be worse. It doesn't ache anymore, but when I walk, I feel a stab of pain slightly in front of the area below my anklebone. I've wrapped it again, but is this normal? Should I be worried? (There's no swelling or bruising.)

I would get it x-rayed. A sprained ankle will definitely swell. I sprained mine one time and it was quite big and painful. Also you will get over a sprained ankle faster if you walk on it. I used crutches and it like to have never healed. But have it checked out. Might have a fracture and you might make it worse.

To be on the safe side, visit a doctor and have him X-Ray it, it could be broken.
