Were having a fun day at our barn pretty soon. I want to try and make cool show ribbons that are inexpensive. Im not sure how many games we would do but maybe around 15-20ish. And awarding through 4th place or something like that. I found a site that makes ribbons for you to order but there 47 cents each. and you can have whatever you want embroidered on them. Does anyone know how to make SIMPLE show ribbons that are inexpensive. and which would be the better deal? 47 cents each? or what?

Go to "Michaels" craft store or any craft store and buy a yard of 3inch wide ribbon in each color up to 5 places. Get rubber stamps that say 1st, 2ND, 3Rd place and a pad with a bottle of gold ink.

i think it will be more than 47 cents for material to make a ribbon than to buy one ribbon. go with the customized ribbons!

You can buy them on a roll. Non-specific ribbons that are first through fourth. I recently got a roll of 100 for $5. I think I got them from e-bay.
