Brian, Glenn Beck has a show on Headline news at 7 P.M. EST. Don't know where you live, but if you can check it out, do it

BTW, I didn't list them in my order of preference. Here is mine:

Glenn Beck -- he is funny and dorky and doesn't always just talk politics.

Michael -- he isn't afraid to get angry and doesn't always stick to politics either.

Rush -- been listening since I was 16.

Sean -- he bores me. Kudos to him for all the charity he does though.

Henry, then why are Rush, Sean, Glenn numbers 1-3 respectively in national listenership?

I very rarely listen to talk radio, but have probably listened to Savage the most...mainly because he is the one who tends to be on when I'm surfing for something to listen to.

I like Beck's show on Headline News - I think he's quirky and funny. I read one of Hannity's books and liked it, but haven't watched him very much. And I've never listened to Rush. Mainly because I really don't listen to talk radio very much.

I have to toss Dr. Laura out there - she cracks me up. Or, more accurately, her callers do. I have hardly heard her show, and I know how she is....it amazes me (and makes me laugh) when people call her up to whine, then act shocked when she rakes 'em over the coals.

1) Sean Hannity- Smart and thought provoking. He always makes me think and he is also a great humanitarian. Not to mention he loves the troops.
2) Rush Limbaugh- I have been listening to Rush since about 1996. He is also smart and funny. I mostly like how he is truthful and he does alot of research.
3) Glenn Beck- Watch him on tv. He is funny, and he doesn't always talk about politics. He likes to get to the root of the matter and doesn't mind stepping on toes.
4) Michael Savage- I've heard of him, but I don't listen to him.

Limbaugh 1
Beck 2
Hannity 3
Savage: haven't heard

Limbaugh is the most informed and funny as heck. Plus he really irritates Liberals.
Beck is very interesting and so is Hannity, but on TV Hannity tends to interrupt.

I believe 0.5 of that, conservatives bash democrats each and all of the time, yet liberal talk tutor hosts I hear to criticize democrats the version is that there are conservatives in congress and on talk shows, yet there are no LIBERALS in congress, for this reason liberals can easily criticize democrats( who're customarily conservative)

I would say rush and glenn are about tied in my book with sean next. Savage is hard to listen to for me. I like rush and glenn because they are funny and they make you think. They both almost always get it right - (they agree with me).

rush is number one for many reasons, namely, he entertains. he is funny as heck, (but you're already familiar with MY sense of humor..so that probably tells you nothing...) secondly, he hits the nail on the head and gets "it" right almost every time..i find myself re-educating my thought processes to mimmick his to get to the truth quicker and through all the total b.s. we are bombarded with on a daily basis.. glenn beck is second, he is funny too, plus he is big on fighting terrorism which i love to listen to..third would be michael savage, he is a lunatic and fun in small doses, then he goes overboard and he becomes lame...sean hannity is ok, but he is too much of a square to enjoy much, the best part of his show is when he plays his answering machine messages from angry libs, it's a real hoot.

The only one that is even remotely entertaining is Savage. When he goes into one of his incoherent rants I expect to hear a thud when he hits the floor after bursting an artery.

Glenn Beck is as deep as a kiddy pool.

Hannity is a pathological liar.

Limbaugh has done more than any of the others to foster division between the left and the right.

I prefer Armstrong & Getty and Dennis Miller.

The four you mention, though, I'd rank in the same order. Beck and Hannity are merely strident, Savage is (or, perhaps merely acts) insane, and Limbaugh is a has-been and not even remotely entertaining anymore.
