MLB record - largest margin of victory, 27 (30-3)

Correction, that is the largest margin of victory in the modern era. Only one game in MLB history had a larger margin, from 1894, Chicago over Louisville 36-7 (29 runs). However, that is the all-time record for margin of victory in the American League.

I bet the bottom 3 hitters (David murphy, jarrod saltalmachia and ramon vasquez) of the lineup put up all kinds of records...they have 4+ hits each...combined for 13 hits and 16 runs batted in and the last two guys drove in 7 runs each...dayummm and the 7 and 8 hitters scored 5 runs and the 9th hitter scored 4 runs wow

The AL record for runs scored in a doubleheader is 36 by the 1937 Detroit Tigers. The Rangers might knock that one off too.

ML record is 43 by the 1894 Boston Braves. Might be a little tougher; the Rangers have GOT to be tired.
