Why is it that guys get all the glamorous names like pimps and players because he has a gang of girls but if a girl gets a lot of guys she gets the shameful name whore? I'm not saying that it's right for a girl to do that,just wondering...

Well it doesn't matter if you're a boy or girl, having a gang of the opposite sex with you all the time is shameful in my oppinion. If you're a guy that has a lot of girls, many other guys will envy you and the girls will think bad of you. If you're a girl that has a lot of guys, many other girls will envy you and the guys will call you a whore. So really it's the same on both sides :\
Personally I don't see why you need to be surrounded by a army of guys/girls. You should only need one to be happy, and if you don't have one, you shouldn't go around trying to get every guy/girl that you can just to say you can.

Good question. IMHO, double standards abound. Personally, I don't think it's necessarily a mark of manliness to have a lot of girlfriends; guys who do are generally scammers to be avoided at all costs, whether you're male or female.
I know plenty of women who like to change boyfriends on a frequent basis. Doesn't mean they're lowlifes or bad people; just means they like variety. What's wrong with that?

I don't consider pimp and player glamorous. I could be wrong but I really don't think men get all that much status for being sluts
