Does that numbskull realize that the Khmer Rouge emerged WHILE we were in Vietnam and that there was a tremendous amount of violence in Vietnam WHILE we were there???

Of course you can compare the wars.
Anyone with any sense at all might also compare the results of leaving Viet Nam prematurely to the expected results of leaving Iraq prematurely - but, hey, let's not let history be our guide - let's just keep pushing for the same disastrous results we achieved in Viet Nam by throwing the people who supported us under the bus.

the only similarity my friend - and its one us "cons" have been touting for years - is that the democrats who helped start this war, will also be the ones who prematurely end it...which will lead to millions of innocent Iraqi lives being lost....So yes LIB...we can compare it to Vietnam...
