I would like to play "Pavane for a Dead Princess" by Maurice Ravel. Is there a fingering guide that I might find to help me play this?

Thank you.

This was originally composed as an orchestral piece, and the piano transcription is not terribly pianistic (my apoloies to Ravel).

The difficulty isn't so much fingering as it is trying to achieve and maintain that plectrum effect in the left hand without drowning it out with the pedal. Clarity is the key to bringing this one off

Work with a teacher or an accomplished pianist who can help you with fingering. There is no guide, and there are many different "solutions" for each fingering issue.

Nice piece -- enjoy!!

There are always some editions that will give intermittent suggested fingerings. If, however, you cannot determine your OWN fingerings, then you really have no business playing this piece YET. Let's not even discuss *pedalling*!! Yikes! Get a good teacher to hep you. I am a judge in music competitions - including piano solo - in NY.
